Alba
It is inspired by the Latin word alba, which translates to "white". White is also the color of the seeds and flowers of the Czech variety of the common poppy, which lends the K2 gin alba its smoothness and sweet undertones.

The gin was created by combining complex, strong, and balanced flavors with an emphasis on rich citrus and juniper notes. The main ingredient, however, is the sweet poppy, which dominates the gin's profile. Poppy has an extraordinary tradition in the Czech Republic. After all, who doesn't know poppy seed buns, plum dumplings with poppy seeds, regional „frgál“ cakes, or strudels? Delicacies we loved as children and which our grandmothers taught us to make? But poppy in gin? That is a novelty, and a little bit of magic, even for Czechs.
The special edition of K2 gin Alba was prepared by the craft community distillery from the very heart of the Haná region. In Těšetice near Olomouc, we continue the tradition of the oldest whisky distillery on the territory of the former Czechoslovakia, located in a place where the distilling craft has thrived since 1582.
