Nara
This edition of our craft gin is, as tradition goes, named after the new version of the K2 enterprise system — K2 nara.
And what’s the narrative behind this year’s name? We found inspiration in Japan — a country that gave the world the rising sun, the philosophical concept of ikigai, delicious sushi, hundreds of brilliant technologies, and also the sika deer that roam freely in the city of Nara.
While many may dream of unicorns, we see these free-roaming deer as a beautiful metaphor for what we have been striving for over many years: to free company directors from routine tasks, to align all processes into a natural whole, to find beauty in everyday work, and to build long-term symbiosis between us and the courageous business owners we work with.

PoppyDistillation

In the TŌSH distillery in Těšetice, we had a special edition of K2 nara gin distilled using exceptional ingredients. In its taste, you may recognize juniper, coriander, bergamot, poppy, jasmine, local herbs, and exotic spices.
What truly sets this unique gin apart are the several types of pepper that you can add to your drink with refreshing tonic water. Whether it’s the exotic sansho pepper, known for its light tingling effect on the tongue, or the pink, green, and black peppercorns that give the gin its unmistakable character and fantastic aroma.

“An ideal ratio is one part gin to 2.5–3 parts tonic. The glass should already be one-third full of large ice cubes — small ones melt faster and unnecessarily dilute the refreshing gin-and-tonic flavor. Then you just need four centilitres of gin and ten to twelve centilitres of tonic — preferably Double Dutch or Fentimans.”
